Beat Final Fantasy Adventure Real Fast Part 2 (The Sword Warp) - A Wild Glitch Appears!

In Final Fantasy Adventure for the Nintendo Game Boy, there's a fairly simple way to blast through the game using a series of relatively easy glitches. This trick is called the Sword Warp, and I'm showcasing this glitch as the second part in a three part series.

Once you're in the Ice Cave, you can use the Sword Warp glitch to transport yourself to a particular room in the Undersea Volcano (part of the Cave of Floatrocks) which is an entirely different dungeon.

To perform the Sword Warp, head to the very second room of the Ice Cave, exit to the north, and then re-enter from the north. In other words, we want to be at the top of the second room in the Ice Cave.

You may need to keep re-entering this room to "refresh" the positions of the enemies until they are all toward the bottom of the screen, because we need them out of the way. Or you can defeat them if you have the means.

Now equip a sword, and wait until your WILL meter is full, then take ONE step onto the ice tile that is just below the top left ice tile.

From here, step to the left onto the ice tile, and as you are slipping downward, use your fully charged sword dive technique to the left. If you timed it right, your dude (whose canonical name is SUMO) should automatically walk INTO the wall on the right.

Now take one step down before you walk to the right. You will transition into a room with four exits. Step down into the room and exit to the RIGHT, then exit the next room UP. Keep going RIGHT then UP until you find a room with some pottery and a staircase.

Walk up the staircase and you should be in an exterior area with three doors and an exit to the south. From here we can warp to the final boss, which I will show off in Part 3 - https://youtube.com/shorts/0yK9cBmip2A
