In The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Super Nintendo, there's a relatively easy glitch you can exploit to warp straight into Ganon's Tower. This glitch can be performed pretty much as soon as you have access to the Dark World.

I recommend having the Magic Hammer and the Hookshot before attempting this glitch if you're a casual player, because you will need these items to make any real progress in Ganon's Tower.

But anyway, here's what you do. First make your way to that portal near the top of Death Mountain. It's the first portal to the Dark World that you would encounter in a normal playthrough, and it's the one that usually leads you to the Tower of Hera.

Enter the portal to the Dark World, then hop down the two ledges directly south of the portal. Keep walking south until you are at the bottom of the screen on this area. There should be a ledge at the southernmost point that you CANNOT jump down from, and a cliffside wall on your right. Walk up to this cliffside wall so that your nose is pressed against the southern side of the cliff.

Now walk to the left until Link just barely makes contact with the diagonal wall at the southern ledge, then tap DOWN to face downward.

At this point, hold the B button to hold your sword in front of you, then WHILE HOLDING YOUR SWORD out, repeatedly tap A and LEFT at the same time. This is a technique called Dash Buffering, and it will move Link to the left one pixel at a time until he clips into the side of the cliff on his left.

Once Link is stuck in the diagonal wall as far as he can be Dash Buffered, hold DOWN and RIGHT at the same time. Link will jump past the bottom of the screen and wrap around to the top of the screen.

When Link lands, the game will think that he is one tile north of the current area, even though the scenery has not changed. From here, you may need to tap RIGHT on the D-Pad first, but you should be able to walk straight up and the game will place you inside Ganon's Tower. Congratulations, you've warped to the final dungeon aka the Fungeon!
