Beethoven: The Ultimate Canine Caper (SNES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
A playthrough of Hi Tech Expressions' 1993 movie- license based platformer, Beethoven: The Ultimate Canine Caper.
For some reason, the US version was retitled for the labeling, but the title screen still says Beethoven's 2nd (in PAL territories the game is packaged as Beethoven's 2nd).
So, you're a Saint Bernard, rescuing babies and bringing them to mom who stands at the end of eat level, lazily yet expectantly waiting. The bitch.
It's easy to see how kids would love this. It's super-simple and primary colored, and for the girls, it's über-adorable, I guess.
If you're old enough to remember this game, trust me: it's nothing more than a smirk/grimacing-inducing nod to things that should have long-since been buried from the 90s.
