Blast - C++ 3D Ray Casting game engine from scratch: from matrix to tensor world of sectors
Blast is an old school (pseudo) 3D Ray Casting game engine coded in C++ from scratch.
No OpenGL, DirectX or any other kind of APIs are involved whatsoever.
This tech demo demonstrates the new world build out of tensor of sectors.
This enables walls, cubes and sectors in general to be placed on arbitrary level on the Y axis with a variable height of the ceiling.
Also implements spatial partitioning that leads to huge performance improvement.
Also some minor updates like shooting recoils and more.
