Developed by Teque Software and published by Image Works in 1989.

This is a conversion of a coin-op game, released on the humble C64. I owned this back in the day, but can't remember that much about it.

It's an Asteroids clone with added variety, with some extra enemy types, power-ups and a massive, green, end-of-game boss called Mukor.

The game is split into 16 different sectors, each of which must be cleared before access to Mukor is granted.

I chose the hardest difficulty level and it definitely lived up to it's name; it absolutely, ridiculously hard, mostly down to the alien space ships that appear and hurtle towards your craft at high speed.

You have the ability to transform your ship in 3 different forms:

* High speed yet vulnerable
* Fighter with maximum fire power
* Heavy with extra health and damage resistance

The difference between the 3 forms is noticeable, yet it doesn't really make much difference to your ability to survive at the expert difficulty level. In fact, I managed to blunder through the 16 levels, using all 9 of my lives in the process.

Fortunately, the final encounter with Mukor is very easy compared to the rest of the game. All you need to do is destroy each of the green tendrils that protrude from his sides.

Even though you can beat Mukor, the game has no ending and simply loops right back to the beginning again.

Graphics and sound are functional (Ben Daglish is credited with the music), but unremarkable.

On a lower difficulty setting, this might have been fun to play.

Enjoy!
