Developed by Impulze and published by Zeppelin Games in 1990.

When Philip Schofield and Gordon the Gopher vacated the Children's BBC broom-cupboard, they were replaced by Andy Crane and Edd the Duck; a loud, raucous glove puppet with a bright green mohican hair cut.

Someone felt that Edd was a suitable vehicle for a game, which is why this game exists.

To be fair, it's a reasonable platform game, similar in style to Rainbow Islands where Edd must collect all the stars on each level in order to progress to the next.

Edd must avoid various nasty creatures, but is able to freeze them in place with a snowball launcher. This allows you to pass through enemies for a limited period of time, although they will spring back to life before too long.

The game isn't very long, but each level is fairly large and collecting all the stars proves to be very tricky, especially as you can't always see enemies off the top of the screen.

Standard platforming stuff, but well executed.

Enjoy!
