A blind race between Blob1024 and myself on E1M8b: "Tech Gone Bad", designed by John Romero. Neither of us had played or seen this map before. The goal was to survive the map until the end, on Ultra-Violence difficulty, and on a single segment (no saves/loads). Dying = restarting the map with the pistol only.

I can imagine how this map could be "how E1M8 should have been"! Quite a challenging and
interesting map, although the first fight feels a bit 'trolly'. So much so, that both Blob and I died at pretty much the same places (once in the first fight, and again on the nukage outdoors). The only difference is that the 2nd death happened soon for Blob1024 (making him waste about 1-2mins), and happened very late for me (making me waste almost 15mins).

Ultimately Blob1024 won the race with an advantage of 10mins. Congratulations Blob1024 - and thank you for having the idea, and joining in on this blind adventure. It certainly was fun having a competitor to do a friendly FDA against :)
