WARRIORS PRACTICE FACILITY, OAKLAND, CA -- On Saturday 10/24/2015, three days before the Golden State Warriors' 2015-16 season opener, general manager Bob Myers tells reporters that Luke Walton will be the head coach to start the season as Steve Kerr continues his back surgery rehabilitation.

""We like coaches with no experience," said Myers, jokingly. "Mark (Jackson) had none, Steve had none, Luke has none. I guess we don't value experience around here."
