In order for me to rant/ramble about things, I will be heading off into spoiler territory so, if you haven’t seen/played this section and don’t wished to be spoiled, then I advise you to stop reading this now. So, after testing out Jack’s loaders and getting to his Office, I take a small break in between assaulting a space station to take care of the some of the side missions that I still have left. We first help out Nakayama who has had some issues with a genetical monster, we finally drop off the fifty common weapons for the revolution (which I will get into later because I want to rant about this mission) and then we sort of team up with Jack’s boss to help him out with getting Jack kicked out from the company. Now, I really want to talk about the revolution mission because it is a very weird mission; I thought that it was going to be a collection of missions that involved us getting various amounts of weapons at each rarity (50 common, 25 green, 20 Blue and maybe like 5 purples) to help you do something with the weapons that you don’t want/aren’t very good/for a different class sort of like the grinder but this would have a storyline behind it. However, after completing this mission, it took a very odd turn that doesn’t really make too much sense when you think about it. In the end, we find out that the revolution is more of a pacifistic revolution than we were meant to believe they are and you’re supposed to laugh at how you collected weapons from them just so they can turn it into modern art. My problem with this is that there were several objectives that mess with this idea of pacifism, for example the side objective in which a bunch of their newer recruits stole the weapons to go fight the bandits but ended up dying. I do feel like I kind of wasted my time collecting these really crappy weapons all for just one big joke that they are pacifists and about modern art. I actually thought there was going to be some sort of storyline behind this group (maybe they try and stand up against Jack or even join him or fight some sort of monster) because I didn’t know why we had to keep going back to a random building in the middle of a random map to drop off weapons (why didn’t they just put the drop off point in town instead? Wouldn’t that have been easier, especially since the “Revolution” happened in town?). Initially, I thought this was going to be another method of recycling your unwanted weapons (like the grinder) but it ended up just setting up an anticlimactic joke after a couple of hours collecting terrible weapons.
