Brute Force Transfer of Generic CC4 Library Clothes onto a Non Standard Humanoid CC G3
I had a channel visitor ask about how its possible to take CC4 library stuff and add it back onto a jail broken character. This is a really REALLY rough execution but basically I do the following in this video:
Return to my normal CC4 plus Shadow avatar before I added new bones to it (still has body morphs editable etc)
Apply some clothes, my hedgehogs short so the clothes are janky)
Export the clothed character out as FBX
Export a current Facial Sequence from this same jank still human avatar
Take the FBX into your main rig file which has your jailbroken CC4 humanoid with the new bones or whatever you added)
Copy the mesh of the clothes you just brought in and bind it the the skeleton with the new bones
Copy the skin weights from the CC4 avy version to the humanoid jailbroken verson
Export your completed humanoid rig back out with its new clothes copies included (you will have to do some cleanup here if your character is far from human and the mess doesnt fit well)
Re-create a new humanoid with that export in CC4 and also remember to install your previously exported out FBX with facial expression sequence data (you may have to re adjust the eye blink if your character has huge non human eyes)
From there save out your avatar and prep it to go over into iClone
Boom now you have a jailbroken character which has hijacked some CC4 library clothes (adjustments likely always needed but no time to do that as this was just a demo to show someone whats possible)
I made shadow blue and sonic like too just to match the "song" better and demo how fast I can just replicate a few things off of shadow create Sonic later on. This is not the real deal version just a quick jank hack I ll do a proper sonic later.
