My progress on doing something nobody has ever done before.. possibly ever. Building a seashell from scratch, LARGE, with all the chambers inside, and making it entirely TRANSLUCENT.

This is part 5 - finished the structure, finished lighting and colouring and have now completely finished it.
So I tried adding the epoxy resin, but it pretty much failed because the resin was getting in UNDER the tape and pooling.. and that's not cool, so it looks cloudy in sone spots, bubble in others, and glass in others.. kind of a cool effect Iguess.. but it also made it feel rough and sticky, so I had to add more clear tape on top, so I lost a bit of the primy hue.. but that's ok. You can still see it in the sunlight, and now the inside contrasrs more :)
The sculpture can be remote controlled and you can make it pulse or flicker, dim it or make it solid. Also funnily enough any type of remote will turn it on, just not off hehe
This piece is currently for sale - its 3-4 feet long and 2 feet wide.. looks really cool wall mounted or on a table.. just msg me if you are interested.
