They have already flown for the Queen this year as the Diamond Jubilee celebrations kicked off two weeks ago but the Red Arrows will perform their first public display of the season this weekend at the Folkestone Jubilee Air Show.

The team who are flying as a 7 ship have worked into their display a manoeuvre dedicated to red arrows pilots Flt Lt Jon Egging and Flt Lt Sean Cunningham who were killed last year,

As they do every year, the RAF's Aerobatic Display Team spent two months training in Cyprus and were granted their Public Display Authority.

After thirty flying days with three sorties a day the pilots have clocked up over 300 hours and for the first time in three years they have graduated to their red suits.

With the Jubilee already under their belts the Red Arrows are concentrating on a busy summer including a trip to Moscow and the Olympics.
