This is a game I haven't spent too much time with before this challenge, to be honest. From IREM ARcade, I always go to R-Type, In The Hunt, and Moon Patrol.
This is a fun game, though! It's very arcade-mean though, where you can't necessarily react on the spot and you need ot know what is coming up. :P
One thing: scoring seems inconsistent? In some runs I barely had 10-12k when reaching the first miniboss, and in others (this one, too) I had 20-21k. I don't know why. So there is something to the scoring I never worked out.
This challenge too had spice. From the previous challenge you know how I feel about spice so I won't rant again here.
I finished tied for 5th in this challenge. I was on pace still to be tied for 2nd but spice happened and yeah...
Regardless, this was a good season overall! I only really didn't like Punch King at all; and my favorites were Worm Blast and Burnin' Rubber. :)
Next season stars with Indie Heroes 1. I'm excited! :D
