Trying The Bitmap Bros. Collection 2 (Part 1) [Evercade #248]

So, after the...experience that was The Bitmap Bros. Collection 1 from a long time ago, I knew this collection would be better already just because it has *variety*.
Cadaver is an interesting little adventure game so far. I don't like the idea where you can lose an item permanently if you use it wrong, though... Still, I like these kinds of games in general because they are a puzzle. And I like puzzles. :)
Gods feels more like an arcade game than anything? With the constant spawning of the enemies and its stiff controls, it feels like something on an arcade cart where you need to learn it to get better. Not a bad thing, just wasn't what I was expecting. It's alright!
Magic Pockets is the weakest of these three games, in my opinion. Your attack is slow and weird, enemies have this property of moving while offscreen (so you lose the ability to anticipate their positions when they come back on screen), and the way to go forward isn't super clear either. It's not *bad*, but it isn't too good either.
Unfortunately, none of the games so far have had any music. That makes me sad. :/
Regardless, I am looking forward to the next part, especially for the strategy game! ;)
