Healing family trauma, PTSD, or dissociation can be done without a therapist if you are on the right path toward healing.
Healing could be something as simple as changing your diet and exercising, journaling and self-reflection, prayer and meditation, medication (if needed) and periodic check-ups with your primary care doctor, or seeking out coaching.
You may also heal by seeing a therapist online or in-person for a short duration of time.
In this video, I discuss some sensory-based, brain-based, and calming strategies to help you manage PTSD and dissociation.
