Capcom Fighting Evolution, Jam, Ryu & Bison longplay with Ingrid & Shin Akuma fights PlayStation 4
Here we go with a full playthrough, longplay, walkthrough and guide of Capcom Fighting Evolution / Jam on the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 on PlayStation 4. Full playthrough as Ryu and M.Bison / Vega / Dictator with both the bonus fights against Ingrid and Shin Akuma. Not a 1CC, as I messed up in the Shin Akuma fight on record, classic case of I did it find when playing for fun, but not during the record. Ingrid is access by getting a least three super finished by the end of the third match Shin Akuma / Gouki requires you don't lose a round and get at least three perfect victories for him to appear after Pryon.
During the mid 2000s Capcom only released a handful of versus fighting games following the genre becoming rather tired after they and SNK flooded the market with fighting games. While they did actually do a few games in this period Capcom Fighting Jam was one of the few to be released outside of Japan. It was a rather rushed titles developed largely by former SNK staff, designed to fill a gap that the cancelled 3D fighting titled Capcom Fighting All-Stars: Code Holder left.
The game mixes the fighting gameplay of Street Fighter 2,3, Alpha, Red Earth and Darkstalkers. Along with one of the characters Ingrid from Capcom Fighting All-Stars. Four characters from the original Street Fighter were also supposed to be included, but had to be cut before release. While I have a soft spot for this one as the idea behind it is rather interesting, the gameplay is totally unbalanced and broken as the different fighting styles don't mix and characters are locked to each style. While the arcade mode is fun enough to playthrough there isn't much else here to keep you gaming, versus mode is solid enough with a friend for fun, It ends up being a bit like a third title in the Capcom vs SNK franchise, but without half the content.
