Capcom, the developer known for its diverse range of gaming franchises, is reportedly working on a reboot of its zombie-focused game, Dead Rising. Despite the last game being released 7 years ago, fans have been clamoring for a sequel or remake similar to the successful Resident Evil series. Insider and journalist Jez Corden has hinted at a possible reboot, and with Capcom's recent success in bringing back classic franchises, it seems like a logical next step. While not much is known about the supposed reboot, it could appeal to both old and new fans and potentially capitalize on the renewed popularity of zombie-slaying games. Despite Dead Rising 4 not living up to expectations, the franchise has still accumulated over 15 million sales, making it one of Capcom's most successful franchises.
