NINTENDO SWITCH PRICES: NO CUTS THIS YEAR, WHAT'S NEXT FOR NINTENDO?
Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa has announced that there are no plans to reduce prices for the Nintendo Switch this fiscal year. While traditionally, gaming consoles have seen a price reduction as they get older, current economic conditions and inflation have made this harder for gaming companies. However, the President confirmed that prices will not rise, and Nintendo already offers a lower-priced variant with the Nintendo Switch Lite for $200. It's possible that price reductions may happen after March 2024 or with the release of new Nintendo hardware. Despite the lack of price cuts, Nintendo continues to do well in the gaming industry, with the success of games like Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom.
