Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 (Capcom Fighting Collection 2) - Arcade Mode
Even now, I find it hard to believe that some of the most beloved Capcom fighting games from the Dreamcast/Xbox era are finally back courtesy of 'Capcom Fighting Collection 2' (and mind you, all of the games featured in this collection haven't seen a single console port since the Dreamcast/Xbox days up until this point). Therefore, in celebration of this monumental occasion, I've decided to try something different here. Using default game settings plus default visual/sound settings, I'm going to see how far I can progress through the arcade version of 'Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001' with only one credit.
For many players, 'Capcom vs. SNK 2' is the standout title in 'Capcom Fighting Collection 2', and it's not hard to see why. Between the innovative Free Ratio system (which allows players to freely mix and match character power levels) and the variety of Groove gameplay systems to choose from (all of which are based on classic Capcom and SNK fighting game mechanics), there's a reason why this game is still being played on a competitive (and casual) level to this very day. For those who don't know, this Capcom fighting game was initially released for arcades in 2001 before seeing subsequent ports for the Dreamcast in 2001 (albeit for Japan only), PlayStation 2 in 2001, GameCube in 2002 (2003 for the European market) and Xbox in 2003.
So yeah, let's see what a team consisting of Ken Masters (who in this case is Ratio 2), Kyosuke Kagami (who in this case is Ratio 1) and Haohmaru (who in this case is Ratio 1) is capable of.
