Capcom vs. SNK: Millenium Fight 2000 Pro (Dreamcast Intro)
Capcom vs. SNK Pro is just a minor update from the first one which was released a year in the arcades in June 2001 but it did get a console port for the Dreamcast as a Japanese exclusive around the same time as the arcade release. With that being said, this somehow got released for the PlayStation in 2002 with some 'sacrifices' being load times, downgraded sound and graphics to boot due to the hardware limitations. (You'd think Capcom would learn from the CPS3 port of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure to the PlayStation in 2000!)
Part of the 'Pro' update was Dan Hibiki from Street Fighter Alpha and Joe Higashi from Fatal Fury. As well as that, characters that were locked through 'certain conditions' are allowed to play from the start which are Morrigan, Nakoruru, Akuma, Evil Ryu and Orochi Iori. Also, new modes of play and new moves for existing characters.
Despite the fact that I own the PSX version due to the fact that I couldn't get the Dreamcast version until very recently(...honest!), you really see the differences between the two and I mean, really see it! It's not too bad, gameplay wise but Capcom vs. SNK 2 made sure that this is eclipsed....tenfold and that would three months later in that year of 2001!
Listen, I hope that you enjoy the intro/video of CVS Pro and stay tuned for VS. fighting content!
