0CARRIER COMMAND 2 VR - CAMPAIGN - Island #2 - ENDYMION
Alright...Time to go a lil deeper. Still LOTSA LEARNING to do here.
Here we are, back in the tense and super interesting VR title from the classic RTS publisher Microprose, Carrier Command 2 VR.
This is my second game, and we are moving in to overthrow and take over a small island to the South of our position, EndyMion...Utility facilities. Hopefully capable of producing some Virusbots for our continued colonization of the remaining islands.
With a lil more knowledge, I planned my attack, sent up a Predator/Albatross drone plane to keep an eye on the situation from on high...then up went the drone choppers/Razorbills...then the amphibious ground vehicles to drop off the Virusbots and take over the facilities on the island, thus winning the island for our team.
Harder than it sounds in this game...That Entire attack failed, and I had to regroup...Which is cool.
I dont understand enough about the game yet, I thought I had completely cleared the island before mounting my first landing...but as you will see, there were Plenty of other vehicles there..oddly, not sure if fresh enemy vehicles are produced on the island in the Other buildings?
Throughout the clip, you will see me repeatedly attempting to get some fuel brought to the Carrier...but it didnt seem to work...at the end I attempted to Order the fuel and sent off the barge for pick up, Fingers crossed it works, My ship is starting to lose fuel level at this point, I'll keep working on it, it looks like I have 3 out of 4 tanks left?
Really enjoying the game, with One more good update with a lil more VR specific changes and this game will slide into VR Classic status, this game breaks new ground in a bunch of ways, and has been well worth spending the time to try to learn to play. Great gameplay. Needs more options for VR gameplay, would be really nice to have a lil more choice.
If anyone plays in this game in VR and knows what's up with the Barge and the restocking, do leave a comment to give some direction on how to get more fuel from the island.
