0Here's the next episode of my campaign run in this incredible and basically unknown VR title, Carrier Command 2 VR.
Game by game, Island by Island, I'm slowly figuring things out here, but still, its very obvious, the Ai is Miles ahead of me, has control of the North East side of the map completely, and when the time comes for our battle, I will be completely outclassed. But we press on.
The barge system is a bit clunky, but, its starting to work, slowly my Carrier is being replenished and I can continue onwards with my domination of the south side of the map, lack of Maingun ammo has forced me to use my Missile banks for inland strikes, and I'm getting low....
The Island of Vulcan is a 2 shield island, thus a lil more caution as I make my attack. Airfield with several vehicles present, thats a Cruise missile hit for sure, and a Manta for the first time...which is interesting and dangerous for sure.
Having the ability to use additional external gastanks Really helps to give my Albatross drones a much longer and more useful flighttime, huge bonus having those to use, makes the loiter over target time massive and I can just circle and keep and eye on things from 2000 meters
Sending in the Razrbills on low level machine gun runs was also productive this time around, and I'd love to have a heavier cannon on board next time perhaps, its Far too bad that the Ai cannot protect itself at all, it would be a better game if the Player Side Ai could actively defend itself or attack targets that come into view instead of just dying.
Still am yet to figure out what size ammo the ships Mainguns require...
Loving this amazing and Far underrated game, a rare VR gem for sure.
The game plays Perfectly, the Poor reviews we very early on, and the updates have brought this game to life, plays Perfectly in VR in minimal system requirements, its insanely compact and lite, and should be offered for Quest2 players, its would be a much bigger and more impactful game in that game space for sure, shockingly great game.
