Castlevania II (NES): Simon's Quest: Part 9: The End of Dracula's Curse (Perfect Ending)
To get to Dracula's Castle, you'll need to find another town. From Laruba Mansion, you're gonna have to take a long trip to the east.
You will go through the Wicked Ditch, and then through the Town of Doina. This town isn't the important one, so I just skipped past it.
You will then go through the North Bridge and then reach Dora Woods. Take the stairs downward from there to get to the Town of Yomi.
The Town of Yomi feels like a ghost town. It's a ghoulish white, and there's only one crazy old lady there. Hopefully you don't need to heal soon, because this town doesn't even have a church.
----------
Beyond that, you will fight through the Vlad Graveyard, and eventually reach the West Bridge.
At 4:45, if you have all 5 Dracula pieces and the Magic Cross, you should be able to break part of the cliff in front of you with Holy Water or the power of Dracula's Nail.
Just keep walking to the right, and you'll automatically enter into the ruins of Castlevania.
----------
There will be nothing in here, or at least not yet. Nothing alive, dead, or undead. Just keep making your way down and right until you reach the very end.
At the end Simon will use all 5 pieces of Dracula to revive the Prince of Darkness, himself...
And then... YOU CAN KILL HIM ALL OVER AGAIN! If you have the Gold Knife, just keep throwing it at him. Do it in a very timely matter, and Dracula won't be able to move, at all!
You beat him, and you beat the whole game!
----------
The outcome of this depends on how long you took to beat the game to begin with. Fortunately, I got the best outcome because I beat this before the game could reach Day 8 of itself.
For this ending, with Dracula beaten soon enough in time, Simon Belmont was able to free himself from Dracula's fatal curse.
He then sees Dracula to his grave and prays at it, knowing that his heart of justice will echo through the earth for many more years.
Unfortunately, the best ending is also the only one that shows that Dracula will still comeback, whether or not Simon will still be alive by the time to stop him once more.
Either way, this was the end of Simon's Quest.
----------
Thank you for watching this playthrough of a rather inconvenient Castlevania game, but realize that had this game not exist, we probably wouldn't have better games such as Symphony of the Night!
Have a Happy Halloween!
