Cat Quest (No, Not That One) - Episode 2: Mutant Blob's A Cat

Well, I can't say I'm exactly happy with how things ended... but at least I managed to beat the game with little issue. The Wonderland stages, on the other hand, are something else. The first one was definitely an interesting test of the skills you had to develop throughout the game, but the massive difficulty spike that came along with the second level forced me to tap out.
It doesn't really help that most of the the remaining achievements I didn't gave we just related to grinding collectibles and killing enemies en masse for awhile... so there wasn't really much to motivate me to keep going. There really isn't that much information surrounding the game online, but from what I can tell, Wonderland was apparently a post-launch update at one point. So I can't say that I feel particularly bad for giving up on it.
On the plus side, it did give me an opportunity to test my theory surrounding the game's controller options. As it turns out, the triggers are how you tilt the world in that mode. Still, I think that the keyboard controllers were the best option available to me. It's clear that this game was designed with motion controls in mind from the start, so I guess I was always going to be at a disadvantage.
After this stream wrapped up, I spun for this year's "Super High School Level Despair Game". I'm not looking forward to playing our big winner, but who knows? Maybe I'll overcome the odds and beat it. Worst case scenario, I just have to waste a week on it before I get another spin.
