Karma Chameleon - Episode 2: I'm Not A Stage, I'm A Monster!

---
Well, as expected, this session ended up bringing my surrender with regards to Kid Chameleon. The weird part is that I was actually doing way better this time around... until I ended up getting greedy and essentially soft-locking myself into what is considered the hardest level in the game before getting yet another game over. And to be honest, my shaky internet didn't really help matters -- probably should've just reset my connection before starting. But I figured it could wait, given the fact that I was already running late as it was.
There's really not much else to say on this one. On the plus side, my initial run was actually going far smoother than it did last time. I even managed to get through that one level that obliterated my continues with little issue this time. I had no idea there was a power-up in that level. I just found it on accident while looking for the time power-up I knew about and it made things *way* easier. Makes me wonder how my original session would've gone if I'd known about it. I probably could've made it further... but I doubt I would've gotten to the end.
All the same, I essentially promised that I'd give it a second shot until I got a game over, but my concerns over that Hoverboard level caused me to jump at the secret warp I found. But continuously warping would eventually lead me to Bloody Swamp, which is generally considered the most difficult level in the entire game. From there, the stash of continues I'd collected pretty much immediately evaporated in record time. I did try to attempt the infinite lives glitch at the end -- even if it probably would've disqualified me from beating the game legitimately -- but sadly, the timing was too precise for my aging reflexes to muster.
But fortunately, not all was doom and gloom. I ended up spinning the Wild Card on my second spin, so the replacement game should be more than doable. Better yet, I'm interested to see the contrast between it and my first bonus game of the year.
