Welcome to Captain Chang Plays... Starfleet Command, Hydran Campaign.

In the previous episode, we killed a bunch of Orion pirates, while escorting freighters, while patroling a nebula, and while guarding a base.

Pursuit into an asteroid field

We pursued an Orion light cruiser into the asteroid field. We slowed down somewhat, as an asteroid field is also often accompanied by a "dust field" that hurts our front shield. We adjusted our defensive posture (defensive tractors on, front shield reinforced, ECM to 2) when sensors indicated that there is an Orion base station hidden in the asteroid field, and the ship is heading there.

We tried to tease the Orion out, but he didn't budge. Should have transmitted some taunts instead.

We headed in but between the ship and the base we took some damage. Still, we were able to dispatch the Orion ship, and later, dispatch the base as well.

We were guarding this base station with plenty of freighters around when sensors indicated phasers fired in the distance, but there are no raiders. Base requested us to investigate two freighters firing on each other.

We went forward and one freighter's captain claimed the other freighter is "hogging the space lanes" while the other said he had priority lane from the station and the other captain won't accept his explanation. Neither will stand down.

Unfortunately, the solution, in this case, is to tractor each ship, beat down a shield, and send marines onboard to take over the ship. And do this to BOTH ships.

The base thought we didn't need to board the second ship, but I disagree.

NOTE: You get this mission in other races as well. I did it the same way as the Feds.
