Kicking off this week, today's CDP features the return of a pure Sky Striker build to my channel, and this profile aims to make full use of the newest array of Sky Striker monsters straight from their manga support suite. Led by their new LINK-4 monster, Surgical Striker - S.P.E.C.T.R.A., my take on this deck is to lean heavily into a pure build, so let's talk about how it works. This new boss carries 3000 ATK and a fun effect - whenever your opponent activates a card or effect as Chain Link 2 or higher, SPECTRA can negate that effect and destroy a card they control, at the small cost of banishing 2 Spells from your GY. This is nothing for a Sky Striker deck, especially since I'm running a wide array of non-Sky Striker Spell Cards that really doesn't hurt to banish. The other absolutely key new card is Pillar of the Future - Cynaos. This Level 1 LIGHT Machine is a brand-new starter from the deck, which can discard a Spell to Special Summon itself from the hand, and whenever it is Summoned, it also summons a Sky Striker ACE - Roze from your Deck or GY. Cyanos is key to reaching your higher LINK monsters, as it can also be banished to Special Summon a Roze that's in your GY or banished, ultimately giving you 3 Link material for the price of 1. That's not the only new tool in the Sky Striker toolkit, as they've also been slated to receive a new LINK-3 as well, Sky Striker Ace - Azalea Temperance, which offers non-traditional monster removal.

While all those tools offer a lot for this strategy, the rest of my build is centered around capitalizing on the best control elements that the Sky Striker archetype has to offer. Whether it is reaching into the Quick-Play Spell Card pool with Forbidden Droplet and Enemy Controller or running the tried-but-true tech options like Metalfoes Fusion and Foolish Burial Goods, this deck has a ton of cards. What's notable is what I'm not choosing to run today. With the rise of Cyanos, I don't really see a point to running Sky Striker Airspace - Area Zero, the theme's Field Spell. While it serves as a nice combo piece with Sky Striker Mecha Modules - Multirole, it just doesn't do enough for the deck anymore, in my opinion. I've also kept the actual Sky Striker Spells to a minimum, with Sky Striker Mecha - Widow Anchor and Sky Striker Mobilitze - Linkage! being the only ones run at 3 copies apiece. The first is your best in-theme disruptive threat, and the second gives you great OTK potential, especially now that the theme will consistently get Roze to your GY. Wield the might of Roze and Raye with the new and improved Sky Strikers!
