-------------------------

Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and today's featured strategy is a mash of archetypes that should hopefully be something completely unexpected. The star of today's show is the Therion archetype, which is a theme of Level 7 and 8 monsters that can Special Summon themselves from the hand by equipping a Therion or monster of their Type from the GY. For example, Therion "Lily" Borea is the Plant representative, and she can be Special Summoned by equipping any Therion or Plant monster. Once on the field, each Therion has its own effect and gains the effects of any equipped Therion monsters, inherited from their equipped fuel. So, if you Special Summon Therion "Reaper" Fum by equipping Borea from your GY, Fum can use Borea's effect to send a card from your hand or field to the GY to tutor a Therion S/T. Tying this archetype together is a card that isn't all too common to see in modern Therion builds, Endless Engine Argyro System. This Spell card can either send a Therion from the Deck to the GY, or if it is in your GY, you can return it to the Deck to recover a Therion from your GY. The boss of the Therion theme is Therion Irregular, which can Special Summon itself by equipping up to 3 Therion monsters, giving you quite the powerspike.

Moving along to the other parts of today's deck, next up is the Horus theme. I've covered the Horus monsters extensively on my channel, but the theme in a nutshell is simple: Activate King's Sarcophagus, then each of your Level 8 Horus monsters can Special Summon themselves back from the GY each turn. With the help of PHNI support, you can also leverage Stone Wall of the Imperial Tombs, which is a Field Spell that becomes King's Sarcophagus, that also happens to tutor any Horus monster. This is important due to the small Crystal Beast engine, led by Rainbow Bridge of Salvation, which can be banished from your GY to tutor both a Crystal Beast monster and a Field Spell. If you already have a Stone Wall, no problem, as you can just grab Therion Discolosseum instead!

This brings us to our final engines of the day, and first up is the Altergeist engine. This is fairly small as well, consisting of Altergeist Meluseek and Altergeist Malwisp, but it punches significantly above its weight. The engine is quite simple - Summon Meluseek, Link Summon Linkuriboh, then Melu will tutor Malwisp, which summons itself and brings back Melu. Since Malwisp is a Tuner, you can then Synchro Summon Herald of the Arc Light if you'd like, giving you an omni-negate. If you don't need that to protect your plays, you can also use all 3 monsters to Link Summon Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians, and leverage her to then Link Summon Accesscode Talker. The last engine at play today features the Mikanko, but a different side than normal. Ohime the Manifested Mikanko is known for her ability to tutor any Mikanko card while in the hand, but did you know that once she's on the field, she can equip any Equip Spell in your GY to any monster as a Quick Effect? In today's build, she's run alongside Mikanko Reflection Rondo, letting you steal control of an opponent's monster on either player's turn. And you don't even need to Ritual Summon her - I'm running a copy of The Great Mikanko Ceremony just to Special Summon Ohime from the hand. At any rate, this is just yet another small engine that works in tandem with everything else to push you towards victory. Let nothing stand in the way of the power of creativity!
