Some people want to add a lot of nuance on the topic of censorship.

"People have such a black and white view when it comes to censorship. Like, I don't know man. I think it depends."

I actually do generally agree with this sentiment, but the problem comes when the cases where it shouldn't be censored, but you think it should be.

"Holocaust denial is illegal in Sweden, which is technically censorship, but also probably for the best."

Yeah, that issue is still wildly debated to this day. I'm taking the American side on this debate, which is that they are allowed to have that view and spout that anywhere they like. I would love to see these holocaust deniers argue with rational people and having them to slowly lose their minds. That, or pit them in a room full of flat earthers and see who won in that clown fight.

"This is a big reason why I stay away from any pro or anti discourse because one side is like 'If it's bad in real life, then it shouldn't exist in media, and if you like it, you're the devil' and the other side is like 'censorship is never okay under any circumstances' and they'll be talking about loli."

Wait, so you just basically agreed that loli is a perfectly acceptable circumstance of censorship. They are fictional characters. They are not real. This is one of those instances where I find censorship unacceptable, which is to please someone's personal comfort. If you find that kind of fictional content morally reprehensible, literally just go away.

"I do not think the rape game should exist."

Really? If you're talking about the game "No Mercy," I talked about this game already. This game is your average by the numbers 3D visual novel. It's really not a simulation at all. It's barely even a game. This game is about as edgy as an inflatable hammer.

"I will answer why a rape game should exist when you tell me why you want a rape game to exist."

The same way I want a game where you can murder people and run them over at full speed to exist. It's fiction. It's not real. The characters are not real, and it's not going to contribute to any real harm no matter how your delusional mind thinks it is.
