Fireburst is a racing game about ill-advised barrels and huge explosions. If you have a pulse, we think your interest should be piqed. Fireburst is an XBLA game with an interesting proposition—catching fire is a good thing. Your car can slowly build up a speed boost that expels flames, exploding nearby opponents. The catch? Your car can't do that for long, and if your car overheats, you're the one exploding into oblivion. Fireburst is about keeping the boost going for as long as possible by stringing together cool-down moments. Smash into a water barrel, drive through a puddle or waterfall—these actions immediately cool your car, which allows you to keep those boosts going. Fireburst features single and multiplayer play.
