"Chicken Nuggets with Edamame"
■Ingredients (Serves 4)
・300g Ground Chicken [Breast]
・300g Edamame [Frozen]
・1 Tablespoon Potato Starch
・2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
・3 Tablespoons Ketchup
☆Meat Seasoning
・1 Beaten Egg
・2 Tablespoons Sake
・½ Teaspoon Salt
・A Pinch of Pepper
・1 Tablespoon Potato Starch
■Procedure
(1) Thaw the edamame beans, remove them from the pods, and coat them with potato starch.
(2) Place the ground chicken and ingredients marked with ☆ in a bowl and mix well. Add the edamame beans from step 1 and mix.
(3) Add half the vegetable oil (1 Tablespoon) to a frying pan and heat over medium heat. Add half of the ingredients from step 2 with a spoon, shape them into ovals, and fry. Once browned, flip the meat over, cover, and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes until the meat is cooked through. Repeat with the remaining meat. (Add as much as you can fit in the frying pan and cook in batches!)
(4) Serve on a plate and garnish with ketchup.
