It's episode 3.3 of Chrono Trigger (クロノトリガー), and this week we are headed back to the past..
(2 of 4) Back in time for Dreamstone; Ayla's village celebrates the arrival of our heroes
Crono, Marle, and Robo all find the time portal at the Millennial Fair in their hopes of finding the rare ingredient Dreamstone. Coming out in the the past literally dropped them out from the middle of the air to an active battle between humans and reptilian-looking beings. After clearing the battlefield, a lone cavewoman who addresses herself as Ayla would recognize their strength and invite them to her village for a party.
That night, the three enjoy the festivities going on around them in their own ways. Late into the night, Crono asks her about the Dreamstone, and coincidentally enough her village's symbol just happens to be the same material as what they're looking for.
So as an act of faith, Ayla challenges Crono to a drink-off with the stone as the reward to the winner. Can Crono out drink our new friend for the needed ingredients for the Masamune?
