Seed Notes & Thoughts/Decisions:

- Frog + Robo start this time. Not bad at all, but can't do first Denadoro fight, so I have to settle for forest. Basic start, pretty much. After the two forest fights, we get Laser Spin for Robo, which will speed up Cat fights. Hero Medal from wifey, and Bent Hilt at Snail stop. I say no to the latter as I'm not sure if I'll even find the other half. Also, we find Crono in burrow, and Marle at Cat 1. AND SHE CAME WITH ICE 2 FIRST. Holy moly. I did Cath hoping to get either a Lucca or an Ayla (or even a Magus - wouldn't have been bad). Golem at Cath is tricky if you don't time your attacks on him and switch his modes properly; at this stage, we don't want to see anything that's AoE. Lucca @ Cat 2. Awesome. Also, Robo's Ribbon was buffed in the last patch to give +3 Speed along with the other stuff it comes with. Even then, I still wasn't interested, so I noped out of it.

- Marle has Ice 2, so I decide to do early desert. Probably should've at least bought Robo a weapon, but meh. Gained some levels off desert encounters, then faced Retinite, which was kind of a slog fight as I no physical techs for him. Had to normal attack him to death pretty much, and got unlucky with Rage Band counters too. Prism Shard from Desert, and we have Marle, but I didn't want to mess around with that just yet, so I go Heckran. I don't need techs, so I skip all but one encounter. Dalton Plus in Heckran Cave - not bad as we have Heal Beam, I had to kill him fast before he starting using his energy spheres. Trigger from Heckran is technically GO MODE, but I don't have a Pendant. Prism Shard I decided to try out, only to get a Jerky. I decided to keep it - had to go through Nizbel II, but we've got both Ice 2 and Mega Bomb to take him out. Jerky led to a Taban Suit, which I think was worth the time.

- Denadoro is next. Might as well been freeadoro, as the boss was Golem Boss. We let him run here as it's not worth the time to do 3,000+ damage to him at that location, and no one can learn techs right now except for Robo. Toma's Pop drop. Geezus. I rush Giant's Claw and eventually run into Slash. Frog has no good techs for him, and Mega Bomb does half damage - however Frog's weapon was better than anyone's at this point, so I swap Marle out for him and throw a Berserker on him and basically decided to have Lucca support with Protects and Mid Tonics while Frog beats him to death, along with a few base weapon Uzzis. Pendant drop, so now we have go mode for real. I swap Marle back in for her Ice 2. Frog leads with Berserker and cleans jail. Dragon Tank, as usual, goes down quickly.

- There was no way I was doing Omen with just Mega Bomb and Ice 2, knowing that mutants could spawn in there, so I decided to do Factory to get magic. Not before looting some sealed chests; overall, not too shabby drops, including two pairs of Sun Shades. R-Series was Ice 2 fodder, and then we run into Ayla. At this point, I'm thinking if she has either Trip Kick or Tail Spin, we replace Robo, if not, we don't. Lo and behold, the girl had not only Tail Spin, but Cat Attack as well. Good enough.

Final Team: Girl Power (Ayla, Lucca, Marle)

- After a perfect encounterless Death Peak, there's a Lavos Spawn at the top, but it isn't the vanilla version. This was Elder Lavos Spawn, which is dangerous. My only offense here was Cat Attack, so I stuck with that, while the other two girls ran support with Mid Tonics. 111 TP after beating him, and I 'almost' get everything I need for the Omen: Fire 2, Fire Whirl, Aura. If I'd take a fight on Death Peak, I would've learned both Haste and Flare. But oh well.

- Nu Shop had Prism Specs. Well then. I get two and some Hyper Ethers - I can just swap the two around the party as needed. Terra Mutant in the Giga Mutant spot wasn't bad. Antipode 3 x2 and he dies before Obstacle even shows up. Mega Mutant in the Terra spot; Obstacle (err, Chaotic Zone) is slow, which we have Kiss for. DP Lavos Spawn in the Elder spot is kinda dangerous, so I had to play that one carefully.

- Unfortunately, I took a wipe to Zeal 2 because she picked off characters about to get their turn, and I had no shadow protection. I just couldn't recover from the Hexagon Mist fast enough. Probably should've put those White Vest/Mails on the first time. Still a good time, though.
