The second eight levels of Chuckie Egg, played on the BeebEm BBC Micro emulator. In these levels the giant duck breaks free and chases you (hence a musical pun I could not resist, "One-Winged Angel"). On these levels you often have to wait for it to get close to you so that you can break away and leave it behind you, à la Giant Clam.

Level 11 is the game's first "difficulty spike", and quite a nasty one. I recommend jumping on the platform right at the start of the level, since otherwise you have to use the ladder on the far right to avoid the duck, which can be awkward. On Level 12, notice that the elevator gap can indeed be jumped, but you must make sure the platforms are not in the way when you attempt the jump. Then Level 13 is certainly the hardest of this bunch, as there's not much you can do to get out of the way of the duck while collecting the eggs on the far right.

I fluff up a few jumps on Level 16, but I was understandably nervous by then, feeling that after reaching this point without losing a life (which I did NOT expect to do) it wouldn't look good to lose one on the breather level. Incidentally, although a maximum of eight lives are displayed on screen, the game does keep track of your exact number, so it's vital to use these early levels to build up a good supply of lives, as from the next video on the game becomes very difficult indeed.
