CiB Let's Try - Blast Lacrosse (PS1)
Blast Lacrosse was released on May 23, 2001 for the PS1, making it a relatively-late PS1 release. It was developed by Sandbox Studios, which eventually became Digitial Illusions Canada (a bunch of Disney games, and Battlefield 2), and published by Acclaim, which as we all know, is essentially LJN.
I really didn't expect anything from this game, and somehow I was still a bit disappointed, because it was actually a little better than expected.
Let me explain: I expected an absolute dumpster-fire, but the game itself actually runs decently well. It's almost like a very bad version of Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey for N64. So, all I can see is a game that actually had promise, but just ended up being boring as heck, which is a shame, because lacrosse is a pretty intense sport, all things considered.
What a shame - but we'll definitely see worse, and soon! Thanks for watching.
