The King of Fighters '95 was a 1995 arcade game made by SNK - it was then ported to the PS1 in 1996, published by Sony themselves.

Overall, this is a real solid fighting game, especially for an early PS1 game. It runs well, has lots of characters, great backgrounds - it even has special animations when the fight is over.

As said before, I am not a fighting game guy, so I can't tell the difference between a good and truly great fighting game, but this one seems at the very least to be pretty good. If you are a fighting game aficionado, let us know your thoughts below!
