CiB Let's Try - Pac-Man World Rally (GameCube)
The Gamecube was a very unique system - we're taking a quick look at some of the games for the Cube that don't get as much notoriety as the big first-party titles.
Pac-Man World Rally was released in August 2006 for the PS2, PSP, and GameCube - making it a relatively late GameCube release. It was developed by Smart Bomb Interactive (Bee Movie Game, Snoopy vs the Red Baron, and a mobile game called Animal Jam that's apparently somewhat popular). Smart Bomb was renamed to WildWorks, and apparently, they still exist. This game was published by Namco Bandai.
Well, it's another kart racer game. I can't blame Trev for this one, because I picked it. It's almost like I just wanted to get this one out of the way. Kart racer is one of those genres that it's really hard to truly make exceptional (I personally feel most of the Mario Karts aren't even exceptional), but it's also really hard to make them truly bad. Most kart racer games are just 'fine', and this is another in the long line of kart racers that is just 'fine'.
If you want a game where you can race around as Pac-Man and friends (and enemies) this is definitely the game for you. Otherwise.... uh..... thanks for watching!
