CiB Let's Try - Mystic Heroes (GameCube)
The Gamecube was a very unique system - we're taking a quick look at some of the games for the Cube that don't get as much notoriety as the big first-party titles.
Mystic Heroes was released in March 2002 for the PS2, GBA, and GameCube. It was developed and published by Koei (Koei / Temco).
I had somewhat high hopes for this one --- the fact that the box art was colorful, and it was a multiplayer game pulled me in --- unfortunately, it's just a Dynasty Warriors game made for a younger audience. I don't think Dynasty Warriors games will ever appeal to me, especially one that doesn't make it obvious what the heck you're doing in the -first- level. You would think that since Mystic Heroes was for a slightly younger audience that they would explain stuff a little more but, no go there.
Regardless, Dynasty Warriors is one of those series you either love or don't care for at all - I'm part of the latter - thanks for watching!
