CiB Let's Try - Batman: Gotham City Racers (PS1)
Batman: Gotham City Racers was released on April 19, 2001 for the PS1 - making this a fairly late release in the console's life. It was developed by Sinister Games (two Dukes of Hazzard games, and Shadow Company: Left For Dead), and published by Ubisoft.
As much as I love the PS4 game Batman: Arkham Knight, and loved the Batmobile portions of the game (I know that's kind of an unpopular opinion), the idea of a Batman game where the -only- thing you do is drive sounded very unpleasant to me - and who knew - the game is awful!
Sincerely, this is an awful game. I know we talk trash on a lot of these PS1 Let's Try games, but we try to be as fair to the time period as possible. We do like the idea that you're essentially playing through an episode of Batman The Animated Series, but beyond that, this is a truly one-dimensional game with awful driving physics, boring gameplay and... well, it's just awful. Regardless, thanks for watching!
