Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island was released on October 24, 2006 for the Gamecube. It was developed by Blue Tongue Entertainment (Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, Nicktoons Unite, De Blob 1 and 2) and published by THQ, who kinda doesn't exist anymore.


I can definitely see why this game is still remembered pretty fondly. It's definitely better than expected from a random Nicktoons game - the animation is actually awesome!


The gameplay is pretty pain-by-numbers, which can get pretty mindless, pretty quick. But, if you're looking for a game kinda like Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance, and want it to star SpongeBob, and be pretty easy, this is definitely the game for you. Thanks for watching!
