FMC Method:
If you throw a semi-active Link onto this pit, your active Link will be pulled towards him. This makes it every easy to start a roll FMC from a nice spot, as you only need to gain ~1 tile.
For whatever reason it appears to be more difficult to the left.
Ledge Formation Hover:
Roll onto the pit in C-down. The later the roll, the more distance you can make.
The other player can do a throw similar to the FMC method to get close enough to be grabbed and then dropped onto the other side.
