allows Dolby Digital Live 5.1\2.0 recording on SPDIF
on Windows 10 Fall Creator Edition
PC sound card Creative Labs SB1095 Pro , with
DXL1 Turtle Beach
( still the Best PC Headset audio ,... SB1095 + DXL1 using SPDIF )
sound angle 4 for 2.0 music , angle 1 for 5.1 audio .
angle 4 is more "Circular" for 5.1 audio , angle 1 is more "Wide Surround" . any app. may sound better with angle 4 or 1 , try them both .
g633 Logitech is good , but the above is Still the Best .

Mass Effect 1 , to show Colossus 2 record quality using the settings I describe here , running Window's 10 as upgrade .
I ran the CPU at 1.7 Ghz , some minor hitches do to texture\geometry loads . Mass Effect 1 hitched long before I had Colossus 2 .
it is made more difficult because Capture's proc amp settings affect both the Live view and the recorded view . Pain full setup
Here , Colossus 2 , works differently on window's 10 . just trying to get a handle on it .
using Colossus 2's proc amp settings of W_8.1 just isn't working with W_10 .
The recording\playback view has washed-out\light cream colored white , but the "Live view" looks good ! what to do ?
reset , start over,...
hmm. proc amp brightness of 20 just isnt't working with W_10 .
( causes everything to have light\white cast )
brightness 14 is just too dark .
tried brightness 15 ,..seems to give a close matched Live view \recorded view,..
at least certain aspects of the two views are similar .
However , recordings are washed-out , so up'd the contrast to 55 , while observing my gray bars .
( one increment at a time , pain full setup ) , each time recorded and compared to Live view .
The adjustment is pretty tight as contrast goes specular at 60 .
musingly , the recorded view's white is No longer washed-out . what ever ,.. progress i guess .
now , with the extra contrast giving more brightness to the recording , the color saturation has diminished ,.. so , while viewing the color bars i up'd the saturation to 54 , one increment
at a time . ( painfull setup , had to record and compare to "Live view" each time )

this is what I am using:
hand tweaked , this is the best for "recorded\playback view" to "Live view" compare .
for W_10 I am using these settings:
capture's proc amp settings for W_10
brightness 15
contrast 55 ( goes specular at 60 , this is a very tight adjustment )
saturation 54( the extra contrast and brightness reduced color
intensity , had to up it to 54 )
hue 50
in a medium lit room .
Window's 10 gamma calibration , NONE ( default )
TV still has same settings .
this is what I am using

compare to Windows 8.1
proc amp settings::
brightness 20
contrast 50
saturation 50
hue 50
Window's 8.1 gamma calibration NONE ( default ) as far as I know .
same TV settings
Capture's default proc amp settings are:
( does NOT work good on W_8.1 nor W_10 )
brightness 14
contrast 58 ( goes specular at 60 )
saturation 60
hue 49
the previous video on Window's 10 gamma calibration is now private , cause it had no real good conclusion.
