Comet Lord Minis- The Champion of the Comet Lord... TRANSFORMED!?!
65Comet Lord continues to put out interesting models month after month. I don't know how he does it! Oftentimes a lot of sculptors all seem to be working in the same frame of mind and offer up similar models, but Comet Lord just keeps rolling on doing his own thing, and for that I absolutely must salute him.
The Champion of the Comet Lord is the normal sized model. He came out a few months ago and is on the website now, which we'll link below. With the big sword and pose he gives off some Artorias and Guts influence, which I'm down with. Then came the corrupted version.
When I first saw this monstrosity getting sculpted, I thought... huh. Looks cool. I liked the poses, the details, and how the corrupted version tied back to the original model.
Then I tried printing it... I never realized it would be this MASSIVE!
Almost everything came out perfectly. There was some slight warpage on the cape but that as an easy fix, as well as filling in the drainage holes. I did pin it to the base to help with stability as well.
The only problem is now having to figure out a paint scheme for both the regular and giant demon version. I got no idea! Anyone want to offer up some suggestions?
