After a lengthy break, we are BACK to finish off Guitar Hero World Tour! Trevor minorly hurt his hand, and I've been pretty busy recently, and we really just wanted to finish off this extremely sub-par game.

As we mention, I originally thought Guitar Hero 5 was the worst Guitar Hero, but World Tour easily takes the title of worst Guitar Hero game. The setlist is extremely bloated (easily 80+ songs, but an all-time low of songs you want to replay), an engine that literally does not work (solo notes are awful, and hammer-ons are iffy at best a lot of the time), and just an uninspired, ugly game.

Looking back, I really, really wish Guitar Hero would have just stuck with Guitar/Bass songs. When you have a specialization like that, you can pick songs that are fun just on the basis of Guitar/Bass, and don't have to worry about drums or vocals - the full band experience.

A lot of songs on Guitar Hero 1 thru 3 wouldn't work well in a band setting, but they are fun, engaging, and challenging for guitar. I'm not sure what the next Guitar Hero game we do will be, but it certainly will be less of a pain than World Tour has been. Thanks for watching!!
