CiB Game Boy Theater - Bust-A-Move 2 Arcade and TMNT 2: Back From the Sewers (Episode 97)
The Original Game Boy is one of the biggest 'game changers' in the history of video games, and essentially ushered in the popularity of handheld games. There are many games that will be classic forever. There are, however, a much, much higher number of simply awful, forgettable, or downright weird games. CiB Game Boy Theater shows you some of the games you might not (and shouldn't be...) familiar with.
Bust-A-Move! It... sure is Bust-A-Move. I appreciate the series for what it is, but much like Bomberman, the series gets extremely redundant for me, extremely quickly. Essentially, if you've played one Bust-A-Move game (on any system) you've played them all. NEXT!
TMNT 2: Back from the Sewers is a childhood game, so I may be a bit biased here, but I think it's a really solid platformer / beat 'em up. The first thing you notice is that your Turtle of choice moves pretty slowly, but given the size of the sprites and how well the game runs, I'm okay with that. The game looks great, sounds great (even some voice clips!), and although this is only a few minute playthrough, it doesn't wear out its welcome and has some solid changes in gameplay. I believe it still plays well nowadays, and definitely recommend it - thanks for watching!
