How to get a Sony PlayStation 3 Sixaxis controller working in XBMC on an Ubuntu Linux system. In this tutorial I show how to get the controller connected via Bluetooth using QTSixA and then how to edit a custom keymap.xml file

Instructions:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:falk-t-j/qtsixa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get qtsixa

Connect controller via USB
sudo sixpair
sixad --boot-yes
sudo service sixad restart
Press PS Button

If the above connection fails:
Reboot
sudo sixad --stop
sudo sixad --start
Press PS Button

Create Keymap as per wiki page.
Take MAC Address from: cat /proc/bus/input/devices
