Corsairs Conquest at Sea by Microids was a game I spend a lot of time with as a kid. Today, I decided to confront my childhood memories with grim reality, and it turned out that not all that glitters is gold. Or at least Corsairs Gold isn’t. It's more like copper, but does it have to be pure gold to be just fun? Well, in this video, I talk about why you shouldn’t spend your QA budget on a new intro movie, how Corsairs bends the laws of time and space, and I also wonder why I still like this clunky little game.
