While this should look pretty familiar to most of you who grew up in the 80s and 90s, the content is anything but!
Sure, there's some familiar lineart from the Macross/ Robotech main designer on display here, but the real star is all the design sketch works and drafts by the man himself, Shoji Kawamori.
This book covers everything up to Macross 7, as Macross Frontier wasn't a thing yet at the time of publication.
A nice bonus is a lot of the early Zentradi mecha are in here as well, with my favorite the Glaug happily getting some representation.
