Summer of PS1 action titles on this channel that will introduce a few more new games on this channel as a preparation for PS4 remakes of RE2 and 3 which will be uploaded during August or September. First such game on this channel will be relatively unknown late PS1 title Covert Ops: Nuclear Dawn.
About Game: Covert Ops: Nuclear Dawn (also known as Chase The Express in Europe and Japan) is 2000 third-person shooter video game with elements of survival horror developed by Sugar & Rockets (today part of Sony Computer Entertainment's Japanese game development branch) and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in Japan and Europe and Activision in North America as PlayStation 1 exclusive. Upon release, game got mixed-to-average reviews, praise going mostly towards its detailed enviroments while criticism was aimed at its design and control scheme. Due to failing to achieve mass appeal, Covert Ops remains mostly forgotten.
Story of the game takes place aboard Blue Harvest, a military train transporting French ambassador to Russia and his family from Russia to France. However, while approaching Ukrainian border, train is attacked by a terrorist organization which calls itself "Knights Of The Apocalypse". They massacre ambassador's security detail and joint NATO-Russian military force guarding the train before boarding it and taking the ambassador and his family hostage, intending to hold them for ransom of 20 billion dollars and safe rail passage through France, threatening further by revealing that they have brought a nuclear device aboard. However, unknown to them, NATO lieutenant Jack Morton has survived the initial attack, having nearly been thrown off the train's roof but managing to hold on and return aboard. Believed to be the only surviving member of ambassador's security detail, Jack is given the order to save the ambassador and his family and get them off Blue Harvest...
