After narrowly escaping the destruction of Cold Steel foundry and Deep Six complex beneath it, Max spends the next day hidden due to his trail running cold following the destruction of Deep Six facility. Next night, he is contacted by his second partner, B. B. who requests a meetup with Max in the parking garage near Choir Communications building. Afterwards, Max deducts that B. B. was actually in cahoots with killer suits and their leader all along, having been paid off by them in order to stall investigation into Valkyr and was also the one who killed Alex Balder at Roscoe Street subway, having purposefully allowed Max to be targeted by NYPD. Realizing that his cover is blown, B. B. sends his bodyguards at Max before trying to escape deeper into the parking garage, ultimately being forced to confront him in combat at the bottom of the garage. Upon killing B. B., Max is once again contacted by a mysterious man who has previously contacted him two times, first in Lupino's apartments and second time at Punchinello manor. This time, he offers to help Max directly by giving him more information on his enemies if he arrives to Asgard Building as soon as possible...
